This is a big one for us: it's our first proper head-to-head game. Split your class into two teams, pick your nations (yes, there are jerseys) and battle for possession by answering questions. Every correct answer drives the ball up the pitch - 3 correct answers and you'll score! But every incorrect answer turns the ball over to the other team. First to the match target wins. It works with maths expressions, our new sentence-level grammar questions, and even your own questions (more on both below).
Follow the real tournament with your class for the whole month. Enter results together and watch the group standings and knockout bracket build themselves, explore the world map, flip through nation cards to learn about all the participating countries, and star the teams your class is following. And if you fall behind over a weekend, one tap on "Fill in real results" catches your tournament up with the official scores. We know your soccer-mad kids are going to LOVE it!

You can now create your own question-and-answer banks. Plus, we've also created 30 ready-made grammar question banks. They're all multiple choice, so they slot perfectly into a fast-paced match. Grammar revision disguised as a World Cup final, anyone? β

π’ Smarter maths expressions
We've also overhauled the maths expression generator interface. The best bit: for multiplication and division you can now choose exactly which times tables or divisors to include. This applies to all apps and generators that use maths expressions as data source. For example, you now have far greater control when generating your Maths Fluency worksheets. Five times tables here we come!
